The Louise & Mark Holland Story…

About us….The Louise and Mark Holland story….. (together since 1987)  began ‘Food Stuff’  in May 2003 in Mona Vale on Sydneys Northern Beaches

Both with extensive backgrounds in hospitality, the food industry, hotels, restaurants, catering & consulting in the UK, Mark & Louise came to Australia together in 1995.

In Australia Mark has (among other positions) worked as General Manager for Simon Johnson, product development for Neil Perry at Rockpool on the Qantas project & also product development for Swiss Air and consulted to Goodman Fielder & other large corporations

Louise originally studied, trained and worked in Hotel management in the UK, Hotel interior design and a number of other  hospitality positions.  On arriving in Australia Louise worked as Personal Assistant to Neil Perry & Trish Richards at Rockpool for 8 years before beginning Food Stuff with Mark in 2003 on the Northern Beaches in Mona Vale.  After 10 years of trading at the retail store they decided to close the store to concentrate on their thriving Catering & Consulting side of the business

Food Stuff is still currently based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches (Pittwater) and focuses on ALL types of catering, specialising in Spanish (Tapas & Paella) functions, we also offer other themes such as Moroccan, Indian, Mexican, Asian, French & Italian.  We provide drop off catering for any event including wakes.  We also cater for buffets, breakfasts, lunches & dinners, corporate catering and more…

We often cater for Christenings, Birthdays, Engagements, Anniversaries, Weddings, Christmas Parties & Melbourne Cup which are just a few of the occasions that we cater for.

Mark currently consults to Australian Caravan + RV Magazine with food pages for the magazine & we regularly provide cooking classes at the CMCA rallies which are held twice a year

We also provide private or corporate cooking classes at your home or venue of your choice

Food Stuff is happy to travel to most places in NSW for catering or consulting purposes. Areas outside of Sydney may attract a travel fee, please contact us for a quote
