Food Stuff is based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches we provide Paella cooked in your own home or a venue of your choice, for whatever your occasion such as;-  Christenings/ Baptisms, anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, openings, hens lunches, Christmas parties, Melbourne Cup Lunches, book launches or whatever the occasion etc

We are also happy to travel to events outside of The Northern Beaches to anywhere within NSW.  Venues outside of Sydney may include a travel fee please enquire for a quote.

Our paella’s ALWAYS contain premium, quality ingredients with a generous ratio of protein to rice which provides the best & most satisfying results for you and your guests

We can cater for small groups of up to 10 people.  We can also cater for larger groups up to 500+ people.  We have many sizes of paella pans and bring along to your event the appropriate size of pan depending on how many people you will be catering for.  These pans sit on their own gas burners so we don’t require electricity to cook the paella.

Our newest addition is our largest paella pan which is 1.3m in diameter.This pan will cater for over 200 raciones (portions) in the one pan

All of our paellas are gluten (wheat), dairy, egg & soy free.  We use extra virgin olive oil to cook the paella

Our traditional and most popular paella includes a combination of chicken, chorizo, bacon, vegetables, rice, spices & seafood (mussels & prawns).  This is the paella which we serve at 99% of the events we cater for.

For guests who don’t eat or are allergic to seafood we can take out the required number of portions from the main paella (towards the end of the cooking) just before we add the prawns and mussels and we then continue to cook this separately – please advise how many a few days before the event if possible

We can also offer a separate totally seafood only paella (ie no meat; chorizo, bacon or chicken) it is an extra $5pp and a minimum of 20 portions

We can also offer a vegetarian (only) paella option.  This paella is also vegan (ie no dairy or eggs) – this is the same cost as the regular paella.The numbers for the vegetarian paella can also be advised when we confirm the final numbers 5 working days prior to the event

All paellas are served with wedges of lemon, aioli (garlic mayonnaise) which is also gluten free, crusty bread and a dressed green leaf salad

We bring all our equipment along to your venue to cook the paella.

The next stage is the week prior to your event we will conduct a site visit to establish where we will set up the paella.  We need a flat, level surface, covered and protected from the elements (wind, rain & sun) and lighting is required if we are cooking in the evening.  We often cook inside, especially in winter.

Our guarantee is that we use only the best ingredients and everything is prepared fresh.  Flavour is of the up most importance

Prices subject to change prior to a deposit paid to hold a date

Supply of disposable palm leaf plates, wooden forks & napkins is $1pp

To hold a date we require a non refundable & non transferable deposit which equates to 30% of the total cost of the booking or a minimum deposit of $400 (whichever the greater)

paella-sml-2Most importantly once you have secured your preferred date with a 30% deposit or $400 which ever the greater, we will then send out a receipt and catering confirmation.
Saturdays are the most popular and sometimes book up months in advance.

Costing does not include linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, beverages, collecting or washing up of plates & cutlery

We provide a chef and assistant to cook and serve the paella from the pan. We usually arrive 1 hour prior to your guests to set up, cooking time is approx 45 mins.  Once we have served the paella we will clear away and depart

If the event is being held outside of Sydney there may be an additional surcharge for travel, please check on booking.

We can also provide disposable palm leaf plates, wooden forks (both biodegradable) and napkins at $1 per person if required

Final numbers and balance of payment is due 5 full working days prior to the event (7 working days if payment is by cheque)

We take Visa & Mastercard or you can make payment via eft.  Amex attracts a 3% surcharge.  Cheques are acceptable but must be banked 5 working days prior to event
